Our Review

Oh. My. Goodness. Where do I even BEGIN with *Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic*?! From the very first episode, I was completely hooked, and it just kept getting better and better. This season took everything I loved about the first two and cranked it up to eleven! The battle of wits between Kaguya and Shirogane is as hilarious and intense as ever, but what truly grabbed me this time was seeing them both start to genuinely break down their barriers and open up to each other. Seeing Kaguya fight against her family's expectations and embrace her feelings for Shirogane just MELTED my heart! And don't even get me started on the side stories with Ishigami and Iino, they were so incredibly well-written and emotionally resonant, adding a whole new layer of depth to the series.

A-1 Pictures absolutely nailed the animation, as always. The visuals are so vibrant and expressive, perfectly capturing the over-the-top reactions and dramatic tension of the characters. And the soundtrack? Seriously, the music is SO GOOD! It elevates every scene, from the comedic moments to the heart-wrenching ones. The voice acting is phenomenal too! Every single voice actor perfectly embodies their character, bringing them to life in a way that is both hilarious and deeply relatable. I especially loved the little additions that this season brought, like the little chibi animations!

Overall, *Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic* is a masterpiece! It's a perfect blend of comedy, romance, and heart, with characters that I genuinely care about. It's one of those animes that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside, and it's definitely one that I'll be rewatching for years to come. If you're a fan of rom-coms, or just anime in general, you absolutely HAVE to watch this! You won't regret it, and it might just become one of your all-time favorites, just like it is for me.

Synopsis

Alright, anime lovers, buckle up because we're diving back into the delightfully chaotic world of Shuchiin Academy with *Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic*! You know the drill: our power couple, Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya, are still locked in their epic battle of wits. Forget grand gestures, these two are all about psychological warfare, each desperately trying to get the other to confess their feelings first. The tension is thick enough to cut with a katana, and the comedic misunderstandings are absolutely gold. Seriously, watching their elaborate schemes backfire is one of the purest joys in anime.

But it's not just about the president and vice-president. We're also following the always relatable Yuu Ishigami as he navigates the treacherous waters of unrequited love, this time setting his sights on the lovely Tsubame Koyasu. Seeing Ishigami's journey towards self-confidence is seriously heartwarming. And let's not forget the eternally earnest Miko Iino, who's constantly battling her own rigid sense of justice, especially when it comes to the mischievous Ishigami. They skipped some good stuff from the manga, but overall a decent adaptation. Just wish they gave more screentime to [redacted character]!
